Brooke Henderson is the LOTTE Champion

Brooke Henderson of LPGA is poised for her sixth career title. The American has been searching for a win since January, but has been in great form this week, shooting a six-under-par total of 69. She averaged 25 putts a round in the first part of the tournament. She has had no bogeys through the first two rounds and has a perfect 68 through her last five rounds.

The second round of the LOTTE Championship was filled with some tough conditions for the field, but despite the challenging conditions, Brooke Henderson is leading the leaderboard after two rounds. She is two strokes ahead Mo Martin who shot seven-under 70 and Shanshan Feng who shot seven-under 73. Pernilla Langberg, the only player to break 70 is tied for 25th.

Annika Sorenstam trails Madelene Sagstrom

Annika Sorenstam, who shot a 5-under 65 on Thursday, is back at the top of LPGA Tour's leaderboard. Madelene Sagstrom, a fellow LPGA Tour star and one of her captain's picks from last year, joined her. After the first round, they shot a 5-under 65 to share lead. Sorenstam plays her second LPGA Tour event and her third overall in 2008 since 2008. Sorenstam will be playing alternate shot on Friday, and Sagstrom will try for luck on Saturday.


Sorenstam, one of the four players who shot a round of 69, was two shots ahead of Sagstrom. Both players still have the chance to win, but it is still possible to take home a trophy. Since 2008, Sorenstam hasn't won the LPGA Tour. She has however played in several events this year including the U.S. Senior Women's Open at Kingsmill and the Michelob Ultra Open.

Brooke Henderson is the winner of the second straight LPGA event

Canadian golfer Brooke Henderson has won her second consecutive LPGA event in Canada. The 18 year old had a phenomenal year. At eighteen, she won Toronto's Women's PGA Championship and was invited to the 2016 Olympics. In Rio, she finished seventh in the women's golf tournament. She holds the record with the most LPGA Tour winnings by a Canadian. She will win the tenth LPGA Event in April 2021. Since 2015, Henderson has won an LPGA championship every year.

Brooke Henderson won the Canadian LPGA Championship. She also won the McKayson New Zealand Open last June and the Meijer Classic after winning the LOTTE Championship. Her win set a Canadian record in LPGA Tour victories. She beat Lexi Thompson and Michelle Wie by two strokes. She was awarded the Bobbie Rosfeld Award by the LPGA, the highest honor.

Brooke Henderson won the last two LPGA events

Brooke Henderson won Los Angeles' second LPGA event, winning with a bogey free 64. She was four shots behind leader after two rounds. However, by round three, her score had increased to 12 under and she was one stroke ahead. Lindsey Weaver-Wright, who was just beginning her career on the tour, was on her way to her first win of the year, but Henderson's victory ended in a playoff after Henderson birdied the final hole.

She won the LPGA event at Seaview and also won the Women's PGA Championship. After starting the afternoon round four strokes behind Korda she roared back on the second two holes with birdies. Nos. 3 & 9 were pars. She made bogeys on Nos. 3 and 9. Then, she went on a tear down the back nine, hitting putts up to eight feet on three of the last holes.
