Annie Park plays professional golf on the LPGA Tour. She has one LPGA Tour win and recently competed in the 2019 Solheim Cup. She is a former college individual champion who also competed in the Symetra tour. She was presented with the Honda Sports Award in 2018. Her other achievements include winning the NCAA Individual Championship 2013 and three victories on Symetra Tour.

Annie Park, a Korean American Golfer, has come a long distance in her life. She was raised in Levittown, New York, and is one of three girls. She was a great junior golfer from a young age. She won the Nassau Boys High School Championship 2012 as the first female winner. Annie is a humble person, but she has been successful enough to make a living out of golf.

Annie Park made the decision to become a professional after her junior year. In February she underwent a thyroidectomy, but she quickly recovered. She missed the NCAA finals but has since won twice at the Epson Tour. She won the Toyota Danielle Downey Classic in July, and the PHC Classic in August. Park is now the first Korean American woman who has won on the Tour. Park is also the Tour's leader in scoring average and rounds within the 60s.

Annie Park, an ex-college golfer, holds a 3.66 GPA. She is a MacArthur’s Renaissance program member that recognizes academically gifted college students. Park is also a close friend to Claritza Bayquero. She has committed herself fully to Liberty University.

Park started playing golf when she turned seven years old. Park was only 10 years old when she began to hit 500 balls per day. Her mom home-schooled and accompanied her from one tournament to the next. Her older sister (13 years) runs a nail salon on Glen Head, Long Island.

Annie Park won 2018's Honda Sports Award for Women's Golf after qualifying at the U.S Women's Open, Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton. She was one of four nominees and won the award in the process, beating out Katie Ledecky, Ella Eastin, and Indiana junior Lilly King. This is the highest national honor for women's college athletics. It will be presented at the Honda Cup in Los Angeles on June 25.


Annie Park is a former NCAA individual champion for the University of Southern California. In her first season she won the conference title and the Division I individual ladies' golf title. She beat the winner six strokes. She won the overall national championship as well as the Honda Sports Award. She decided to quit the Trojans to join the LPGA Tour.

Annie Park played alone in the Chevron Championship at Mission Hills Country Club. The tournament typically sends players out in twosomes, and Park played alone for the first two rounds. Park shot a score of 69-67 to make it through the cut. This was her best 36-hole score at a major tournament.

She will be playing with another person the next day. She has never finished in the top 15 in any major and had considered quitting. She was involved in a pandemic that left her with serious mental health problems.

Annika Sorenstam, Se Ri Pak were her inspirations

Annie Park was inspired to play tennis by Annika Andrestam and Se Ri Pak when she was young. These were South Koreans who had great success on LPGA Tour. The former was an inspiration for young South Korean players, while Sorenstam was a role-model for young American girls.

Park was born and raised in Levittown, New York. She is the youngest daughter of three sisters. Her parents are Korean immigrants. Despite her humble background, she has been able to golf well enough that she can make a living.
