Injury has forced Alex Morgan to withdraw from two friendlies against England, Spain and Spain. VlatkoAndonovski, USWNT coach, has released the 24-player roster for two international games. The matches are scheduled for Oct. 7th in London, and Oct. 14th in Pamplona in Spain. Both teams qualify for the 2023 World Cup, Australia.
Carli Lloyd
Carli is one of the best goal scorers in US women’s soccer's history. She has 314 caps for the USWNT, and could make more if she plays in both friendlies against South Korea. Her career is not without controversy, having been marred by her split with longtime trainer James Galanis and a major injury. She is also the highest-paid female player in the game.

Alyssa Thompson
Alyssa Thompson is one of the most promising young American players. She has the technical control and speed to defeat defenders in one on one duels. Tracey Kines, the head coach of US women's under-20 national team, saw her potential. Kevins recalls Thompson at 13 years old, when she was scouting Southern California clubs. She encountered a forward who was "brave", "resilient" and "brave" in that game. Thompson is currently a member on the US women’s national team.
Tobin Heath
Tobin Heath, a forward, was recently selected for the US women's soccer team roster. She is a star player who played for both the North Carolina Tar Heels team and the United States national team. United States Soccer Federation calls Heath "perhaps the USA’s most talented player". US Soccer named Heath Athlete Of The Year 2016.
Hope Solo
Hope Solo has been a controversial figure in the women's soccer world, carving out a complicated legacy. She is one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, with 202 appearances in the U.S. team and a record of 152 clean sheet. Solo's controversial personality has been a big talking point in the sport. Solo is known for her outspoken views.
Tobin Naeher
The United States women’s soccer team is now in the final stages for their World Cup qualification campaign. Tobin Nasser was a surprise choice, but she has proved to be a valuable part of the team. She played every minute and made four saves during the 2-1 victory over France. Naeher also saved Steph Hurton's attempt at a penalty kick stoppage in the semifinals.

Tiffany McLeod
Canadian soccer players have accused referee Christiana Petersen of bias in an ongoing controversy regarding the US women's team's match against Canada. Pedersen inflicted a penalty on the United States in the 80th for holding the ball in the penalty zone. Pedersen is also a former World Cup referee. He was not available immediately for comment.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe, a steady presence for the United States' women's national soccer team for more than 10 years. The forward is a force on and off-the field. She was raised in Redding (California) and played volleyball alongside her older brother. Rapinoe's performance in recent years has been impressive for the United States. She scored two goals in 2012 World Cup and one in 2015.
