Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale was a two-time NCAA Champion and has now been named her first WNBA All-Star. She was the league's highest scorer and currently ranks eighth for the Dallas Wings in points per games. She will be an integral part of Team USA's preparations to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Chicago will host WNBA All-Star Game from July 9-10. The Saturday night event will include a skills contest and a three point contest. Ogunbowale wants to be a part in the next All-Star game. Team USA won the previous All-Star match.
Kelsey Plum
Kelsey Plum, Aces guard, scored 30 against Team Stewart in her debut WNBA All Star Game. Despite her diminutive stature, Plum was crowned the WNBA All Star Game MVP. But, Plum's MVP trophy was dwarfed when she was presented with the NBA's Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP trophy. WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert brought some humor to the event, and she presented Plum with a new trophy after the game.
Plum stated that she wanted to win the MVP award. Plum made 12 field goals, took 18 shots and set an All-Star Record. At the moment, she averages 19.9 points per match. She is currently playing in the WNBA All Star Game and representing the United States at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in 3x3 basketball.

Arike Ogunbowale won the MVP award
Arike Ogunbowale, the MVP of WNBA's all-star game, was also a winner. The Dallas guard was a Notre Dame basketball player. She was the fifth overall pick at the WNBA draft. Vanessa Bryant was her mother and a huge fan of the player. Her family voted her in, so this is an extra special award.
While the 2021 WNBA all-star game saw many changes, the game remains an all star event. Ogunbowale was one of the lone WNBA player to win MVP honors, beating Team USA in the matchup by 93-85. Ogunbowale was also named as a reserve for 2022 WNBA All Star Game. The game will be held in Chicago, and will be broadcast on ABC.
