You may have seen some female golfers wearing very visible clothing if you've ever been to a professional tournament. Paige Spiranac is one example. She was known to wear a small skirt on the golf course before the dress codes were enforced. Male golfers criticised this practice and accused the LPGA body-shaming females. However, today, the dress code was lifted.
Lexi Thompson
Alexis Noel Thompson, an American professional golfer, plays on the LPGA Tour. She qualified at 12 for the U.S. Women's Open. She became a professional at the age of 15. She has been a part of several major championships. Her first LPGA win was June 2016.

She was twelve years old when she became the youngest ever woman to participate in the US Women's Open. By age sixteen, she was the youngest LPGA winner and had won her first tournament. At 20 years old, she has won multiple LPGA tournaments and is considered one of the world's most fit athletes. She practices for three hour, plays 18-holes, eats lunch, then works out with a personal trainer. Thompson donates her time to charity, such as the Wounded Warrior Project.
Thompson was one of most exciting players in the game in 2015, but she's had a tough year in 2021. She was five shots ahead at the US Women's Open of 2021, but it wasn't enough. She has won the LGPA Japan Tour in the past and the Ladies European Tour in the present. She currently ranks 9th in Rolex Player Rankings. Last spring, she was 17th in both the Lotte Championship as well as the ANA Inspiration. She also missed an opportunity to win her second major event at the AvnetLPGA Classic.
Michelle Maguire
Leona Maguire, an Irishwoman, became the first to win the LPGA Tour's Drive On Championship in Florida. The 27-year old finished at -18, three strokes better than Lexi Thompson. Maguire began the season with five birdies, and she finished tied with Marina Alex in the final round. But she birdied the 10th, 11th, and 13th holes to claim the title.
The 2020 season was mostly good for the Irishwoman. There were some low points at the beginning of the season. She missed 16 LPGA Match-Play events in May but rebounded to be her best during the summer. Maguire said that her success can be attributed to many experiences she has had, both good and not so good. Positive experiences increase confidence. Negative ones can be used as reality checks.

Maguire was also named to the 2017-18 WGCA All-American Scholars Team. This is an honorable award given to student athletes who have shown academic and athletic excellence. Maguire's honor roll includes serving as a captain and team MVP. Lydia Ko's record, which she set for most World Amateur ranking weeks, was also broken by Maguire. She was also named honorary recipient of the ACC Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarship, which recognizes exceptional student-athletes and their intention to earn a graduate degree.
