Brooke Henderson leads LOTTE Championship

Brooke Henderson from the LPGA is poised to win her sixth professional title. American has been seeking a win since January. But, Henderson is in fine form this week. She shot a six-under-par score of 69. In the first half of tournament, she averaged 25 putts per round. Through the first half of the tournament, she did not make a bogey in any round. She also has a 68 in her final five rounds.

The second round of the LOTTE Championship was filled with some tough conditions for the field, but despite the challenging conditions, Brooke Henderson is leading the leaderboard after two rounds. She is two strokes ahead Mo Martin who shot seven-under 70 and Shanshan Feng who shot seven-under 73. Pernilla Lindsayberg, the other player who broke 70, is tied for 25th.

Annika Sorenstam trails Madelene Sagstrom

Annika Sorenstam is back on top of the LPGA Tour leaderboard after shooting a 5-under 65 on Thursday. Madelene Sagstrom was Madeika's captain's choice last year. Sorenstam teamed up with her fellow LPGA Tour star Madelene. The two shot a 5-under 65 to share the lead after the first round. Sorenstam, who is currently playing her second LPGA Tour tournament of the year, and third overall for 2008, will be taking part in this event. Sorenstam & Sagstrom will continue to play alternate shots on Friday.


Sorenstam shot a 69 on Thursday. Sagstrom was two shots behind. Both players are still in contention for a win but still have a chance to win a trophy. Since 2008, Sorenstam hasn't won the LPGA Tour. She has however played in several events this year including the U.S. Senior Women's Open at Kingsmill and the Michelob Ultra Open.

Brooke Henderson wins the second consecutive LPGA event

Brooke Henderson from Canada won her second consecutive LPGA Canada tournament. Last year, the 18-yearold had a remarkable season. She won the Women's PGA Championship at Toronto in her eighteenth year and represented Canada in the 2016 Olympics. She finished seventh in Rio's women's tournament. She holds the record for the most LPGA Tour wins by a Canadian. She will be winning her tenth LPGA tournament in April 2021. Since her debut in 2015 when she was just 15, Henderson has won an LPGA title every year.

Brooke Henderson is now the proud owner of three LPGA Tour championships thanks to her win in Canada. She also won the McKayson New Zealand Open last June and the Meijer Classic after winning the LOTTE Championship. Her victory set a new Canadian record for the most LPGA Tour victories, beating Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson by two strokes each. She was also awarded the Bobbie Rosenfeld Trophy, the highest honor in the LPGA.

Brooke Henderson won the last two LPGA events

Brooke Henderson won Los Angeles' second LPGA event, winning with a bogey free 64. After two rounds, she was four shots behind her leader. But by the end of the final round, her score was 12 under, which is one stroke more than the leader. Lindsey Weaver Wright had just started her career on this tour. Henderson's win came in a playoff, however.

She won the LPGA event at Seaview and also won the Women's PGA Championship. Although she started the afternoon round four strokes ahead of Korda, she quickly recovered with birdies on the first and second holes. Nos. 3 through 9 were her bogeys. She made bogeys on Nos. 3 and 9. Then, she went on a tear down the back nine, hitting putts up to eight feet on three of the last holes.
