Swedish Golfer Anna Nordqvist

Anna Nordqvist plays international golf and is a member of the Swedish national team. She was named to several prestigious teams, including the All-Academic Second Team of the Pac-10 and the Pac-10 First Team. Additionally, she was invited to the 2008 PING/ASU Invitational. At the 2008 NCAA Championships, she finished tied for fifth. She was also awarded the 2008 Ladies British Open Amateur. Nordqvist was also a World Amateur Team Champion for her country and received low amateur honors in 2008. Nordqvist began playing golf at the age of thirteen, and credits national coaches Maria Bertilsk"ld and Katarina Vangdal with helping her develop her golf career. On her first attempt, she qualified for the Tour.

Changes in equipment

Anna Nordqvist has struggled this year since her win at the Evian Championship. The Swedish player has had to deal with many equipment changes that have caused her problems. She finished in top 10 twice this past year but has not been able the compete in the majors. She feels that her game is returning this week, and she made some improvements.
