Stina Schwarzstenius scored twice for Sweden during their first game against America, which put the United States on the back foot. Although her goal was only luck, it was also a significant part of the Swedish dominance. Sweden are the world champions. They defeated the Americans at the 2016 Olympics. Sweden played in a 2-2 draw in Stockholm against the Americans but won in Tokyo with a score point of 4-0. Blackstenius's goals against the world champs showed that Sweden is not to be underestimated, despite the odds.
