Laimbeer is a former NBA All-Star player and two-time NBA champion. He was also the leader of the WNBA's Detroit Shock team to three championships.
Bill Laimbeer has been a former NBA coach, general manager, and player. Prior to taking over the Phoenix Suns he led the Detroit Shock in three consecutive 20-win seasons. His final record was 92-78. He won WNBA Coaches Award of the Year 2015.
